Equipment Needed

Tools Required

We have a number of tools to borrow in the workshops however these are limited. 

If however you wish to bring your own to the workshop for your personal use please find below  a list of some of the tools required in upholstery.

Basic Tool Kit for Upholstery

  • Magnetic Hammer
  • Webbing Stretcher
  • Curved Needles
  • Double ended needles (various sizes)
  • Stapler and Staples
  • Tacks various sizes
  • Tape measure (not metal)
  • Pins with a glass head
  • Taylors Chalk
  • Fabric Glue
  • Tack Lifter
  • Staple Remover
  • Regulator
  • Apron
  • Normal small Hammer

NOTE FOR BEGINERS

None of the above apart from the apron and tape measure are required at the first few workshops.

We will discuss at your first workshop what you will need to bring with you to complete your chosen project.
